It will become more difficult for Ukrainians abroad to obtain a passport

Ukrainians abroad will no longer be able to legally obtain a foreign passport without presenting a certificate of military registration. This information was confirmed by MP Fyodor Venislavsky, the publication’s journalists report «GOLOS.EU».

According to him, this innovation was proposed in the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense during the discussion of the draft law on mobilization. The decision to introduce this restriction applies to men who left Ukraine and plan to extend the validity of their documents. A final decision on this issue has not yet been made, since the committee has not decided on specific rules for citizens liable for military service within the framework of the mobilization bill.

Let us remind you that the bill on mobilization, which is under discussion in the Verkhovna Rada, will complicate the process of processing documents for Ukrainians abroad. Restrictions for draft evaders will become more stringent, requiring compliance with certain conditions in order to complete the necessary documents.
