Ukraine's armed forces have completely switched to a procurement system that prevents corruption. This was reported by journalists GOLOS.EU with reference to the statement of the First Deputy Secretary of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Mykhailo Koval.
The official told reporters in Brussels on Wednesday after a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group, in which he participated.
"Procurement in the Armed Forces is a danger in terms of corruption. These are rear services in the areas of material, fuel and lubricants, weapons. Electronic bidding introduced. This system is part of the work plan to prevent corruption, "he said.

According to Koval, this system is "used everywhere." "There are tangible positive results. The problem areas are the rear, which are related to food, uniforms, housing and operational issues and fuels and lubricants. There are completely new approaches, and they give fruitful results, "said the First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
