Ukrainian banks have begun blocking cards of citizens wanted by the TCC.
More precisely, we are not talking about the search itself, but about the fine that is imposed for violating the military registration procedure - for example, failure to update personal data or failure to appear in response to a summons. Well, for failure to pay this fine, the defaulter is punished by blocking accounts.
Expected? Of course: they warned about this happening back in the winter, when they just started discussing the law on graves, and it was clear that this opportunity would be used. Well, I already said then that we need to gradually look for a way to refuse to use Ukrainian bank cards: go to cash, crypto, or, at worst, use cards made in the name of relatives not liable for military service, although this is also undesirable: if it is really necessary, then their cards will also be blocked, if necessary - then without any explanation at all, this is exactly what happened to me personally.
If you can't get rid of your Ukrainian card completely, at least don't keep money on it, and at the first opportunity transfer it somewhere where it will be safe. Or better yet, move somewhere safer yourself.
