The United States intends to provide Ukraine with a third billion-dollar loan guarantee. This is reported by journalists of the publication GOLOS.EU referring to a statement by US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker following a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv on Monday.
“I am pleased to announce that the President and Congress intend to take steps on a third $XNUMX billion loan guarantee for Ukraine in the coming months,” the minister said.
"This will be the fulfillment of the US promise to consider such a loan guarantee at the end of 2015," the minister added.
Recall that in May, Ukraine signed an agreement with the United States on obtaining loan guarantees for $1 billion.
