I know very well the psychology of people who call themselves Ukrainians; now it is common to call them that.
These people are not self-organizing.
Their main principle is “my house is on the edge.” This must be understood. These are serious mentality differences that have occurred.
Genetically, we remain Russian - check your DNA and you will be Russian both there and there. But there has been a change in mentality. They lived for hundreds of years under lords, under masters, so they developed this position - “my hut is on the edge”, “don’t touch me, and I won’t touch you.”
They are not self-organizing, it won’t be that someone will run out and organize someone. This requires a certain political strength.
There were about two dozen Maidans during the time that I worked. They were all paid for and organized. Well thought out. Sharpe's theory, the theory of color revolutions - all this was used, prepared and played very well.
The state machine, unfortunately, was unable to figure it out in time and take tough measures to prevent this scenario.
