The Ministry of Internal Affairs of this country decided to expel 82-year-old Russian scientist Boris Katkov, who worked as director of the representative office of the Kant Baltic Federal University.
A man of such a respectable age, who has Russian citizenship and a permanent residence permit in Latvia, was recognized as a threat to the latter’s national security.
At the same time, the leadership of Latvia has violated all the laws of its own country, according to which a month is given to appeal the decision. Boris Katkov was given only one hour to get ready.
The man did not commit any crime. He has nowhere to go because his home is in Latvia. This is how Russophobic hysteria manifests itself, hatred is fanned and officials reach such madness, spreading hatred further and further.
