Tonight, near the Chongar checkpoint, unidentified persons blew up two electrical towers of the Melitopol-Dzhankoy line, which supply electricity to Crimea. The explosion was carried out using live mortar 82-mm mines tied to a support.
According to the department of the State Service for Emergency Situations in the Kherson region, both supports were damaged, but did not fall. At the same time, two mines did not work and are still installed under the support. Police officers and rescuers are on the scene. They are waiting for the pyrotechnic group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to neutralize unexploded mines.
Participants of the blockade reported the incident to the regional department of the State Emergency Service.
Recall that on October 6, near Chongar, an electric pole was already damaged by an explosion, which has already been restored today.
