On November 13, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv will start considering the case against the ex-head of the Party of Regions faction in the Rada Oleksandr Efremov, ex-deputy from the Party of Regions Oleksandr Stoyan and ex-deputy from the Communist Party Serhiy Gordiyenko. This is reported by journalists of the publication GOLOS.EU with reference to an informed source from the Ukrainian News agency.
The preparatory hearing is scheduled for 14:00 pm. Judge Oleg Belotserkovets will consider the case.
Efremov, Stoyan and Gordienko are suspected of exceeding their official powers and falsifying the procedure for passing laws on January 16, 2014, which were called "dictatorial".
On February 16, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv chose Yefremov a measure of restraint in the form of detention, but the ex-deputy was released on bail of 3,7 million hryvnia, which was made by former Deputy Prime Minister Boris Kolesnikov.
