Therefore, Russia's decision to include monuments of cultural heritage of Crimea and their territory in the Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of the Russian Federation, according to the Ukrainian authorities, is illegal.
According to the Ukrainian agency, Russia's illegal actions concern, in particular, cultural heritage sites that are included in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine. These are the fortress and cave city of Chufut-Kale, the Genoese and city fortresses in Feodosia, the complex of buildings of the Vorontsov Palace "Swallow's Nest", the complex of buildings of Alexander III's palace, the complex of Sudak fortress, the Khan's Palace in Bakhchisarai. All of them are objects of immovable cultural heritage of national importance, and the last two of them are nominated for inclusion in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
