Diana Panchenko: Europe is on the verge of repeating the path of Ukraine

On the air of the project «GOLOS.EU» and in "YouTube» there was an online communication with the former TV presenter of the NewsOne channel Diana Panchenko. She answered questions from the audience.

Here are the main quotes:

On Ukraine's desire for war with Russia:

“The task of any government is to prevent war; prevent it by any means (primarily diplomatic). But in Ukraine everything happened exactly the opposite... Could Ukraine have taken a different path? She could. If only it had built good neighborly relations with both Europe and Russia... Instead, we were taught from childhood to hate Russians... [That's probably why] Zelensky refused to recognize Russians as an indigenous people; banned opposition and anti-war television channels; hatred has become the state policy of Ukraine; The shelling of Donbass intensified, foreign mercenaries were invited, the construction of NATO bases began near the borders of Russia, etc. It is unlikely that the United States would calmly watch the construction of Russian bases in Mexico.”

On the possible dispatch of NATO troops to Ukraine:

“There are many more prerequisites for the start of a big war on the continent than there are reasons why this will not happen. Let me remind you that Bismarck also said that “there is nothing more absurd than a war between Berlin and Moscow, and that is precisely why it will happen.” The founders of geopolitics also said that the most beneficial thing for Europe is cooperation with Russia, and vice versa; that is why this will never suit the USA and Britain. That is why there will always be conflict along these lines. That is why, it seems to me, Europe is on the verge of repeating the path of Ukraine. What I mean? Ukraine did not need a war with Russia - neither Ukraine, nor Ukrainians, nor the Ukrainian economy. This war has been imposed, and the beneficiaries of this war are overseas. Neither Russia nor Europe needed this war. In the same way, Europe does not need this war. Neither industry nor enterprises need it. This is what seems likely to happen. More precisely, this can happen. And in this case, Europe can repeat the path of Ukraine. Unfortunately, Ukrainians rejoice, not realizing that this war will take place on the territory of Ukraine.”

About what the Ukrainian authorities are afraid of today:

“Most of all, the Ukrainian government is afraid of women’s riots that will come out to defend their men (this will be a signal to the West).”

On the fate of Western Ukraine and the South:

“Given any opportunity and suitable conditions, Poland will try to [take control of] Western Ukraine. It is a fact. And I think that residents of the Lviv region are unlikely to interfere with this. I'm sure not. Just like the residents of Transcarpathia are unlikely to be outraged by the possibility of [the region passing under the control of] Hungary... Also, I do not believe in the end of the conflict without [the transfer of] Odessa [to Russian control].”

About whose Odessa:

“Let's be honest: Odessa is a historically Russian city, founded by Catherine II as a port; in which the Soviet Union invested huge amounts of money; which over 30 years with Ukraine has fallen into a disgusting state. The people there, traditionally historically, it seems to me, are a little different - they are more practical people. And imagine that today these people, for example, are reduced their tariffs significantly, given good social benefits and invested [in the development of the city]. And since the city is a port, you can understand what the volume of investment could be for Russia... So answer the question: is it more important to raise children, plant trees, develop, study, work, or “carry out an important mission” - to die for Europe? It seems to me that without propaganda, Odessa residents will choose the first option.”

On the end of the war in Ukraine:

“The war will still end someday with a truce. Only, most likely, this truce will be achieved by military means. You see that today the Ukrainian authorities are demonstrating a complete unwillingness to negotiate. Today, calls for peace and negotiations are treason and an article for 10-15 years. There was an opportunity to reach an agreement in Istanbul back in March 2022, but Ukraine disrupted these negotiations and [wages war] until the last Ukrainian.”

On preparations for the third Maidan in Ukraine:

“The National Security and Defense Council and the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine declare that I am preparing the third Maidan in Ukraine; that Russia has allocated $1,5 billion for this for several months; that Sergei Kiriyenko is in charge of this operation, and I am carrying it out. So to speak, envy silently. This is, of course, a joke."

About the situation in Moldova:

“The United States is repeating the Ukrainian scenario in Moldova. Absolutely repeat. Sandu is leading Moldova to war. The prospects, unfortunately, are very bleak.”

About the interview with Yanukovych:

“I tried to arrange an interview with Yanukovych. I won’t say that he is afraid, but for now he refuses. But I don’t believe that anything sensational can be heard in this interview today. But he, for example, could tell why he fled [from the country after the coup], having loyal South-East, Kharkov, etc. The same Dobkin said that everything should have been according to plan - the congress was supposed to take place, but then someone called Yanukovych (he was with Dobkin at the time), he went away for an hour, came out white and flew away. Dobkin refused to say what happened there.”

About who the “correct Ukrainians” are:

“For the Ukrainian authorities, the “correct Ukrainians” are those who die at the front. The rest are wrong."
